The verdict summaries reprinted here were selected by the staff of the Cook County Jury Verdict Reporter for maximum reader interest. The cases that have been summarized in this edition of Illinois Jury Verdicts represent a wide variety of cases reported in Illinois and by traveling Illinois attorneys during 2008 and to date in 2009. As you will see, the summarized cases include both high plaintiff awards and notable defense victories.
