On April 3, 1989, Craig Martin was at the offices of Jenner & Block earlier than he needed to be.
It was his first day at work, and he was one of the first lawyers to arrive that morning. Thus, he was stuck at the outer door, since he hadn’t received the appropriate key card yet.
Greg Gallopoulos, also a new associate at the time, had to open the door for his eager colleague.
