Pattishall, McAuliffe, Newbury, Hilliard & Geraldson partner David C. Hilliard, intellectual property litigation, received several recent awards, including the Chicago Bar Foundation's "The Justice John Paul Stevens Award."

Corboy & Demetrio partner Philip Harnett Corboy Jr., construction litigation, vehicular accident law and products liability, received DePaul University College of Law's 2012 "Distinguished Alumnus Award."

Krieg DeVault associate Mark W. Bina, health-care law, litigation, creditors' rights and bankruptcy, was appointed to a one-year term on the Illinois Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission's hearing board.

Perkins Coie partner Daniel A. Zazove, business insolvency and turnarounds, was inducted as a fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy in Washington, D.C.

> Courts

Retired DuPage County Circuit Judge Stephen J. Culliton was selected to serve a three-year term on the board of trustees of The John Marshall Law School. Culliton, a 1970 graduate of the law school, served as a judge for about 23 years.

Retired DuPage County Circuit Judge C. Stanley Austin joined JAMS. Austin, who spent about 20 years behind the bench of DuPage County's Domestic Relations and Law divisions, serves as a mediator and arbitrator for family law and personal-injury disputes.

Monroe County Associate Judge Heinz M. Rudolf was appointed as an associate member of the Judicial Conference of Illinois' Committee on Education. His appointment expires Dec. 31.

Associate Judge Robert T. Hanson was appointed circuit judge in the 15th Judicial Circuit. He will fill the vacancy left by Circuit Judge Stephen C. Pemberton's retirement.
